QC Piping Inspector

1. Primary Duties:
   1. Implements inspection activities in accordance with the Project Quality Plan and Inspection / Test Procedures for inspection piping fabrication and hydro testing pressure test.
   2. Maintains a record of job specification and/or acceptance criteria of the items they cover for inspection.
   3. Check and ensure that the measuring test instruments being used during test and inspection operations are properly calibrated with valid certificates and stickers.
   4. Material receiving inspections against the P.O, Delivery Note, IFC drawings and MTCs.
   5. Maintains approved QC Checklist forms to be used during inspection.
   6. Compiling Hydro test Packages, doing physical line checking.
   7. Gaskets and Stud Bolts verification, followed by installation and monitoring of Bolt Torquing.
   8. Witness Hydro Static Test for Valves, Piping & Pipeline and maintains record of Test Reports.
   9. Issue Non‐Conformance Report (NCR) to items not found acceptable and submit to QC Supervisor Mechanical for appropriate disposition.
   10. Prepares Punch List during the final stage of mechanical completion and submit to concern Production Units for corrective actions.
   11. Guiding production skilled workers for dimensional accuracy and work / product quality.
   12. Provide support and advice to the construction personnel in relation to Project Quality.
   1. Updates himself of File Record of Documentation Inspection covering the following:

• Document Control or issues of drawings, specifications, etc.
  • Materials Receiving Inspection and Vendor Non‐Conformance.
  • Storage and Maintenance covering reports on handing, storage and preservation.

Secondary Duties:

• Reports to QC Supervisor Mechanical and responsible for the discharge of his duties and responsibilities as QC Inspector along his area discipline assignment.

• Coordinates with Production Units Work Supervisors for the required QC Inspections during the work process.

Qualifications:

• B.E Graduate or Equivalent; Diploma in Mechanical.
  • Minimum 5 years in oil & gas field with at least 3 years’ experience of those years related to Mechanical Inspection.
  • SAUDI ARAMCO approval CBT (MUST HAVE).
  • Additional certification in NDT e.g. ASNT Level II etc. (MUST HAVE).
  • Relevant training in the appreciation inspection techniques and with the appropriate qualifications/ certificates.
  • Proficient in interpretation of engineering documents and drawings.
  • Shall be fully conversant with applicable Industry Standards and Specifications.
  • Computer literate, familiar with proprietary administration software.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good communicator.
  • Maintain a good standard of written and spoken English.
