Job Description

A reputed OIL & GAS Company in Jubail, Saudi Requires QC Inspector – Steel Structural.
Quantity: 10
Salary :- 8,000 SR – 10,000 SR + FOOD + ACCOMODATION + TRANSPORTATION

Primary Duties:
• Monitoring and implementation of QMS Procedures, PQP, ITP & method statements and reporting deviations from management system / contractual requirements of the projects.
• Verifying that all necessary inspections and tests, as required of the project and statutory regulations, are carried out and appropriate records are updated and maintained.
• Coordinating quality activities with subcontractors and any other individual parties who may be working on the same site.
• Coordination with clients / third party, in accordance with approved ITP, for agreed witness inspections & tests.
• Ensuring close‐out of all snags / punch‐points within the time frame agreed with the client.
• Reviewing and performing material receiving inspection as per company and client requirements, applicable standards / specifications etc.
• Performing assigned in‐process and final products inspection and tests.
• Monitoring daily inspection of bolts tightening and Pre‐tensioning, etc.
• Monitoring inspection & test reports of completed inspections & tests are concurrent
• Ensuring all equipment’s, tools and materials meet with the project quality requirements and that personnel have been adequately trained to use them safely.
• Identification of non‐calibrated equipment’s and informing construction for expediting arrangements with Calibration agencies for timely calibration of the equipment’s.
• Liaise with client representative concerning quality matters on site.
• To be conversant with the company QHSE procedures & policies and ensure that all the people on the site observe and implement them.
• Identifying near miss and nonconformities in materials, products, processes, procedures and reporting the near miss / nonconformities in the near miss / nonconformity report.
• Verification of implementation of corrective & preventive actions against the nonconformities and reporting results to QA/QC Lead – Supervisor.
• Monitor the progressive preparation of final quality dossiers which should be concurrent and maintaining backups of completed quality dossiers.
• Submit weekly report and requested information / statistics to QA/QC Lead ‐ Supervisor.
• Guiding production skilled workers for dimensional accuracy and work / product quality.
• Provide support and advice to the construction personnel in relation to Project Quality.
• Updates himself of File Record of Documentation Inspection covering the following:
o Document Control or issues of drawings, specifications, etc.
o Materials Receiving Inspection and Vendor Non‐Conformance.
o Storage and Maintenance covering reports on handing, storage and preservation.

Secondary Duties:

 Reports to QC manager and responsible for the discharge of his duties
and responsibilities as QC Inspector along his area discipline assignment. Coordinates with Production Units or construction manager for the required QC Inspections during the work process.
 Have a thorough knowledge and proven ability in construction techniques with emphasis on foundations, structural steel, bolt tightening and pre‐ tensioning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Diploma
• More than 10 years of experience and 5 years as QC Inspector ‐ Civil / Structural role in industrial gases, oil & gas, petrochemical, infrastructure or related industry which should be site based.
• Saudi Aramco CBT Passed & project Approval. Preferred
• Knowledge of the ISO‐9000 series International Standards
• Working knowledge of recognized building codes including the International Building Code (IBC) or equivalent standards
• Knowledge of ACI, ASTM, AISC, BS and International Building Code
• Team Player, Strong communicator written and oral
• Strong and effective coordinator
• Organized, disciplined, able to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities and parallel tasks
• Strong Microsoft software skills, particularly Excel
• Report and relevant procedure preparation skills
• Experience of working in a multicultural project team
• Middle East project experience
