A reputed OIL & GAS Company in Jubail, Saudi Requires QC Mechanical Inspector.

Salary :- 8,000 SR – 10,000 SR + FOOD + ACCOMODATION + TRANSPORTATION
Primary Duties:
- Implements inspection activities in accordance with the Project Quality Plan and Inspection / Test Procedures for inspection all mechanical and equipment activities.
- Maintains a record of job specification and/or acceptance criteria of the items they cover for inspection.Check and ensure that the measuring test instruments being used during test and inspection operations are properly calibrated with valid certificates and stickers.
- Material receiving inspections against the P.O, Delivery Note, IFC drawings and MTCs.
- Maintains approved QC Checklist forms to be used during inspection.
- Ensures that all aspects of quality control in relation to contract documents are identified and observed.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the 2015 version of ISO 9001 QMS requirements, engineering discipline drawings, standards, material specifications, construction methods and QC inspection and test procedures.
- Inspector shall be certified to API 653 for tank, and API 510 for pressure vessel and demonstrate working knowledge of codes, as required by the scope of the Contract, such as ASME Sec I, V, VIII and IX, ANSI 831.3/4/8 and API 620/650 and AWS 01 .1, required for the execution of the inspection work. As a minimum, he shall have experienced with:
- Installation of equipment such as, Pumps, Motors, Skids, Valves, Vessels, Compressors, Fired Heaters, Auxiliary Equipment, Packaged Equipment in plant construction, etc.
- Piping systems and pipe line,
- Hot tap procedure,
- Vessels, tanks and spheres construction
- Structural steel erection
- Hot/Cold Insulation.
- Issue Non‐Conformance Report (NCR) to items not found acceptable and submit to QC Supervisor Mechanical for appropriate disposition.
- Prepares Punch List during the final stage of mechanical completion and submit to concern Production Units for corrective actions.
- Anticipate equipment and piping retirement and initiate appropriate steps.
- Guiding production skilled workers for dimensional accuracy and work / product quality.
- Provide support and advice to the construction personnel in relation to Project Quality.
- Updates himself of File Record of Documentation Inspection covering the following:
- Document Control or issues of drawings, specifications, etc.
- Materials Receiving Inspection and Vendor Non‐ Conformance.
- Storage and Maintenance covering reports on handing, storage and preservation.
Secondary Duties:
- Reports to QC Supervisor welding and responsible for the discharge of his duties and responsibilities as QC Inspector along his area discipline assignment.
- Coordinates with Production Units or construction manager for the required QC Inspections during the work process.
Qualifications:
- B.E Graduate or Equivalent; Diploma in Mechanical.
- Minimum 5 years in oil & gas field with at least 3 years’ experience of those years related to welding Inspection.
- SAUDI ARAMCO approval CBT (MUST HAVE).
- Inspector shall be certified as an American Welding Society CWI, CSWIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector, or approved equivalent. The Inspector shall have a demonstrated background and thorough knowledge of codes such as ANSI B 31.3, 31.4 and 31.8, ASME Section V and IX, API 620 and 650, AWS D1.1, required for the execution of the WORK.
- Where Nondestructive Testing (NOT) forms part of the work, and Inspector is required to review or ensure NOT programs and results, he shall have been previously qualified and certified to a minimum ASNT Level II in the relevant methods. When performing, reviewing or ensuring Nondestructive Testing in VT, MT, PT, RT or UT, he shall be certified in the specific methods. When performing, reviewing or ensuring Radiographic Testing Film Interpretation (RTFI), Inspector shall be certified in RTFI.
- Proficient in interpretation of engineering documents and drawings.
- Shall be fully conversant with applicable Industry Standards and Specifications.
- Computer literate, familiar with proprietary administration software.
