A reputed OIL & GAS Company in Jubail, Saudi Requires Fully Automatic Welder – GMAW / FCAW.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate fully automatic welding equipment to perform high-quality welds on pipeline components, including pipes, fittings, and other structural elements.
Set up welding parameters, including voltage, current, travel speed, and wire feed rate, according to project specifications and welding procedures.
Conduct pre-weld inspections to ensure that materials are clean, properly aligned, and free from defects or contaminants.
Monitor welding processes and make adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal weld quality and productivity.
Perform visual and non-destructive testing (NDT) of welded joints to verify compliance with welding standards and project requirements.
Collaborate with welding inspectors, engineers, and supervisors to address any issues or deviations from welding procedures, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and environmental hazards in the workplace.
Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including weld parameters, inspection results, and equipment maintenance logs.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of welding equipment to ensure continuous operation and minimize downtime.
Train and mentor junior welder operators on proper welding techniques, equipment operation, and safety practices.
Adhere to project schedules and deadlines, coordinating with other team members to optimize workflow and meet project milestones.
Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and project briefings to promote a culture of safety and quality on the job site.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Certification or formal training in welding technology or a related field.
Proven experience operating fully automatic welding equipment, preferably in pipeline construction or fabrication projects.
Proficiency in interpreting welding procedures, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Knowledge of welding processes, including gas metal arc welding (GMAW) and flux-cored arc welding (FCAW).
Familiarity with welding codes and standards, such as ASME, API, and AWS.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds with minimal defects.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot welding equipment issues.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast- paced environment.
Physical stamina and dexterity to perform welding tasks in various weather conditions and work environments.
Safety-conscious mindset and adherence to safety regulations and best practices.
Previous experience working on pipeline projects in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East region is advantageous.
