AR Senior Accountant
Job Description
Job Summary:
Cooperate with the chief accountant in preparing daily JVs’ according to IFRS, proper JVs documentation assurance to support his JVs’, retrieve all financial data to be well presented to stakeholders, set up his own control over his own and specific responsibilities to enhance and strength the internal control over all the company. Must have the ability to change the current process and migrate safely to the new process with fair knowledge about IFRS.
Key responsibilities:
Reporting
- Provides financial information to his direct manager by researching and analysing accounting data and preparing reports.
- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information.
- Expert in monthly closing activities and sharing the SOA to customers on time. Manage collection from customers and reconcile accounts.
- Track overdue overdue payment and minimize it to the required level.
- Recommends financial actions by analysing accounting options.
- Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit or loss statement, and other reports.
- Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
- Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Other Responsibilities
- Assure the compliance of the accounting entries with IFRS.
- Customers Accurate profile and documentations (CR, Contracts…etc).
Key Competencies Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- Analytical Skills.
- Master in using Excel sheets – MUST
- Thinking and Problem-Solving skills.
- Advanced accounting Knowledge.
- ERP Deep knowledge (Oracle, SAP, or MS. Dynamic)
Organization Structure/ Job Dimension:
- The Role reports directly to the FPA Manager.
- The role holder will interact mainly with the following business stakeholders:
- Chief Accountant
- Senior accountant
