Fabrication Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and coordinate fabrication activities to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Develop fabrication schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of projects.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to review fabrication drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
Evaluate materials and select appropriate fabrication methods based on project specifications, budget constraints, and timeline considerations.
Supervise fabrication technicians and provide guidance on welding, cutting, machining, and assembly processes.
Implement quality control procedures to ensure that fabricated components meet required specifications and industry standards.
Conduct inspections and audits to identify potential issues or deviations from project requirements, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all fabrication operations.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization in fabrication operations.
Should be capable to handle over 100 manpower.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in fabrication engineering, preferably in oil and gas.
Proven experience in piping fabrication, heavy structural.
Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, materials, and processes.
Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Prior experience working in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East region is advantageous.
Professional certifications or licenses may be preferred.
